Knights of Columbus

Welcome to the Knights of Columbus, your local Council #2612 on Nantucket, established in 1926 and named after a beloved priest of that era, Fr. T. J. McGee.

Today our Brotherhood strives to continue our fraternal mission of service and charity. Recently you may have seen us supporting important causes:

  • Local scholarships - Spaghetti and Ham & Bean suppers
  • Assistance for Seminarians - Breakfasts
  • Hospitality gatherings - Coffee/pastry after Masses
  • Manning the grilling events at St. Mary’s Church Fairs
  • Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities – (Tootsie Rolls offered as a token of appreciation)
  • Organizing Basketball Free Throw event for youth
  • Other highly encouraged St. Mary outreaches:
  • Lend a hand where needed
  • Cemetery “clean- sweeps”
  • Visits of care & support
  • Parish liturgical support

Have you thought of joining the Knights or perhaps can recommend a Catholic man over 18 who would? There is much more that can be done with your help. Enjoy fellowship while lending a hand. Gain access to highest rated life insurance & annuity products to protect your family.
